Project

Étude des changements temporels des phytocénoses forestières. Approche comparée et intégrée de la réponse des bryophytes et trachéophytes aux pressions anthropiques de la dernière décennie.
My research interest is focused on forest plant communities. I’m interested in measuring long-term changes in plant communities (i.e. taxonomical and structural composition), as well as evaluating the causes of these changes. I use both comparative and integrative approaches using two taxonomic taxa: bryophytes and vascular plants. I hypothesize that bryophytes have a special behavior (response) to global changes. My two study areas are in France and in Québec, one of my project is to study temporal changes at large scale in Quebec.
